The History

People label kindness as a "sucker" trait to excuse their own bad behavior, but this work shows that true strength is the discipline to stay a good person. It challenges the lie that you must be a bully to be respected, or that a uniform is more important than the man wearing it. Inspired by my time traveling with Officer Nzita, this painting is a vignette of the quiet power and "spine" it takes to choose respect over force.
